Abacus is a rubber pegasus pony who was formerly a literal abacus. Nightmare magic is strange. She is a creature of flat affect, and is remarkably talented at accounting. Owing to her original nature, she is particularly good at counting, as well, and is the bane of "guess the number of objects in the jar" sweepstakes runners, as a result. She has been known to count a treasury down to the last decimal just from a look. She seems to be very neutrally aligned, and will as readily help out a villainous enterprise as she will a local business, so long as their books need doing. Bipedal iterations of Abacus have also been shown to be oddly talented at using a polearm, which makes her as suited to guarding fortunes physically as she is with a ledger.

That said, Abacus is remarkably loyal to those who have shown they care about bringing things into order. She has never been known to break a promise, but will be very clear about not being willing to make a promise she will not keep, as well. She is very blunt in conversation, but never insulting. All of her reading has given her a much better grasp of politeness and etiquette than most, but as her experience is by the book rather than in person, she can make some odd gaffes. Some have assumed she's from space, given where her unfamiliarity tends to lie.

She spent several hundred years trapped on the local moon (half as an abacus, half as a pony). She learned most of what she knows from reading the various books that were banished there as well.

Joy is a 5'6" tall latex anthropomorphic deer/dog hybrid with small wings and a golden halo. Her canine half is clearly dalmatian as she sports black floppy ears and several dark spots along her body, mostly her back and sides. Her deer side shows through with simple golden antlers poking out through her hair, her overall body shape, and her unguiligrade foot-hooves, though the underside of those does seem to have paw-pad markings. Notably, she has two black dots under her right eye. She wears simple round glasses with no temples, and is often seen wearing a glossy apron and little else. A close inspection of her wings and halo would reveal that both are embossed with the name of a local party supply business. Despite this, her wings seem to move as if they were as much a part of her as the rest of her. Her halo floats above her head, and glows faintly. It's been shown to operate under its own physics model, one some might call 'toony'.

== Profile ==
Despite her angelic appearance, Joy is something of a grumpy critter, possibly due to the fact that despite her changes, she's still working retail as if nothing happened. She works as a barista in a small, independent coffee shop, and seems to be quite competent at that job. . She's often struck with flashes of "divine" wisdom, such as knowing the true names and motives of those that order from her. She's also able to fly despite the relatively small wings, and is prone to doing so unintentionally when angry or annoyed. She does generally seem to mean well, but can fly off the handle at odd times. She does not report any actual connection to a deity or a "heaven," and using a pick-up line about angels on her is an excellent way for a customer to end up wearing their coffee order. Despite all her grumpiness, she does generally seem to mean well, but can fly off the handle at times.

== Transformation ==
While deer-dogs aren't particularly common in her world, they're not exactly an unusual sight. As such, Joy, who was called Joyce at the time, was a fairly average critter about town. Then, as now, she worked as a barista, and lived in a flat nearby the cafe. One day, after losing a bet with her co-workers, Joyce was working in an angel costume, complete with wings and halo. While she was working like this, a particularly transformative, but rather unaware of the ways of the mundane world, critter by the name of Snow took a shine to her, first figuratively, then literally.

While Joy hasn't been willing to share exactly how the change happened, it's clear that it was more than a simple transformation. Beyond the wings and halo, her identification and the memories of many around her shifted to match her new nature. To her neighbors, she's always been Joy, a shiny angel. It affected Joy herself, as well - she has been unable to say that her name is "Joyce" ever since - it will always come out as Joy. This is one of the sources of her grumpiness, because she is quite aware of what has happened. That said, she does not regret her change, and says that she rather enjoys "belonging to Snow." Sharp-eyed critters might notice that the cafe has changed since her change as well, to be rather more synthetic in nature. The coffee, however, remains as mid as ever.

Generally, Ingersoll is an anthro latex doggocorn made up of two creatures merged: a latex non-anthro unicorn, Ingrid and a mundane anthro canine, Saul.

Ingrid was trapped in a statue in ancient times, her spirit released when Saul clumsily broke the vessel holding her. She was released, but merged with him.

Mentally, they're separate-ish, with Saul serving as the conscious mind, and Ingrid giving urges and odd thoughts in the background.

Ingrid is very possessive of Saul, more so as she's grown used to having him so close. She would like nothing better than to get them both back into her old shape, a beautiful glossy unicorn. Formerly, she wanted to be free of him, but over time has grown very attached.

Saul, who has encountered Ingrid in dreams, is slowly feeling like they'd like to follow along that line, though the image here in the red dress feels very good to the combined doggocorn.

Generally, Ingersoll doesn't have very good control over their magic, and when the unicorn Inside doesn't get her way, she'll force them a bit more toward their old form, which has unpredictable results at times (uncontrolled size being common).

Deep in the woods, she discovered a structure mostly hidden by overgrowth.

After gaining entry to the odd structure, she discovered oddly formed corridors and signs in a language she'd never seen before. Perhaps more surprising was that the corridors and rooms seemed to have lighting and power, albeit intermittently. She spent the next several weeks essentially living in the space ship, exploring what she could and trying to make sense of the writing and displays.

Eventually, she did gain access to more areas of the ship, and found her way to what she'd eventually learn was an engine room of a crashed spaceship, the true nature of the structure. It was there that she was confronted by the voice of the ship's computer over the intercom, which could apparently understand her language after years of monitoring transmissions. Mostly, it told her that it could not give her access as she was not authorized, but that she was welcome to continue to rest in the public areas of the ship.

After encountering some pictures of the Putorius mascot within the ship, noticed that it had superficial resemblances to herself. Assuming the images were of a former crew member, she left the ship to disguise herself as that individual, returning to try and gain access to the private areas of the ship. The ship's computer, which used the company's mascot as an avatar, discovered a work-around of some systems blocks if ordered to by itself, and decided to take her claim at face value.

She was then taken by the ship and 'repaired,' so that she could 'resume' her place onboard the ship as its avatar. This resulted in the synthetic form she has now. While her mind has been changed somewhat by this transformation, she does have access to her old memories, and is aware that she was previously not Sirius. However, she lacks access to certain pieces of information concerning her previous nature, her name being one of them. The ship actively manages her access, as she works to rebuild broken systems. It is likely that the ship will return to space, given the nature of the repairs Sirius is making.

Briar is a synthetic Amphimorpho, who became one after encountering some detritus left over from the creation of Fzz. The former-human has rather gleefully embraced her new nature, and is exploring what it is to be a synthetic life form, as well as an amphimorpho.

She is most commonly found wandering around Earth, or aboard an equally glossy spaceship that may or may not have been obtained legally... but can you steal a sentient critter?

As a shapeshifter, Briar is sometimes found in shapes that are not amphimorpho-ish. Most commonly, she's been seen as a squirrel, an sparkledog, and Zinnia, a rather cute dragon from SLARPG. She tries her best at new shapes but is particularly bad at changing colors, so you can typically tell when a critter is actually Briar. The glowing blue insides are also a pretty big tell.

As a shapeshifter, Briar is sometimes found in shapes that are not amphimorpho-ish. Most commonly, she's been seen as a squirrel, an sparkledog, and Zinnia, a rather cute dragon from SLARPG. She tries her best at new shapes but is particularly bad at changing colors, so you can typically tell when a critter is actually Briar. The glowing blue insides are also a pretty big tell.

Aurora was a pony flying through that world's version of the Bermuda Triangle at the same time a small luxury jet was doing the same in a more mundane world. A storm blew in, and at some point, both plane and pony were flying at the same place at the same time. The result? A very sentient plane in a very mundane world. Strangely, critters don't seem to notice this unless it's pointed out. She's a carefree critter and has taken to her new form and state in life. She prefers her Jet-A from a juice box.

Some notice the rather rubbery nature of her 'metal' and interior. When asked, she will typically explain that her outfit during that storm was a rather glossy one. Seems she's that way all the way through as a result.

Generally, Ingersoll is an anthro latex doggocorn made up of two creatures merged: a latex non-anthro unicorn, Ingrid and a mundane anthro canine, Saul.

Ingrid was trapped in a statue in ancient times, her spirit released when Saul clumsily broke the vessel holding her. She was released, but merged with him.

Mentally, they're separate-ish, with Saul serving as the conscious mind, and Ingrid giving urges and odd thoughts in the background.

Ingrid is very possessive of Saul, more so as she's grown used to having him so close. She would like nothing better than to get them both back into her old shape, a beautiful glossy unicorn. Formerly, she wanted to be free of him, but over time has grown very attached.

Saul, who has encountered Ingrid in dreams, is slowly feeling like they'd like to follow along that line, though the image here in the red dress feels very good to the combined doggocorn.

Generally, Ingersoll doesn't have very good control over their magic, and when the unicorn Inside doesn't get her way, she'll force them a bit more toward their old form, which has unpredictable results at times (uncontrolled size being common).
